At Velours, we believe intimate wear is one of the most personal forms of self-expression. We've been crafting beautiful, size-inclusive lingerie since 2014 — for every woman, every body, every mood.

The Velours Story
How it began

Born from a
Desire for More

Velours was founded in 2014 by designer Isabelle Renard, who felt that the lingerie market offered women a binary choice: functional or beautiful, affordable or luxurious, standard sizes or specialty. She refused to accept that.

Starting with a small atelier in Paris, Isabelle designed her first collection of eight pieces. Each one was crafted by hand using the finest French laces, sourced directly from the historic mills of Calais. The response was extraordinary.

By 2016, Velours had grown from a one-woman studio into a team of 40 artisans, pattern-cutters and designers — all united by a single mission: to make every woman feel remarkable in her own skin.

Craftsmanship

Every Velours piece is designed by hand, in-house. We work with artisan makers across France and Italy to produce lingerie of the highest quality — items you'll keep for years, not seasons.

Beauty has no single size. Our full range runs from XS to 4XL in bottoms, and AA to G in bra cups. We design for real bodies — and we celebrate every single one.

We are committed to a more responsible industry. All our fabrics carry eco-certification, our packaging is 100% plastic-free, and we are on track for carbon neutrality by 2027.
